From Graduate Project Coordinator to Client Solutions Consultant

I joined PageUp in 2018 in the position of Graduate Project Coordinator. When I was in my final year of uni, I still wasn't sure what kind of career I wanted so I applied for heaps of graduate roles. I attended lots of assessment centres and interviews, but didn't feel connected to any particular employer until I went to the PageUp office. The PageUp assessment centre was fun, informal and the team were really friendly and helpful - I met the current and previous graduates and had the chance to ask them questions one-on-one. After this great experience, I knew I really wanted the grad role at PageUp and I'm so thankful I was offered the role. From the day I joined PageUp, I've felt like I belong and have always been supported and encouraged to do my best. I've had plenty of opportunities to get involved in internal projects or suggest ideas for process improvement. Following my graduate year, I've worked in client-facing roles across multiple regions and with customers of varying sizes and industries. I really enjoy the diversity and challenges of my work, I'm never bored and feel like I'm always learning.

Working with clients to achieve their goals and continually add value

I work with clients across various industries, helping them to achieve their talent acquisition and talent management goals through the PageUp Group suite of solutions. My role includes optimisation projects, implementations and ongoing client consultation to ensure they are getting the most value out of our technology.

There's a lot of variety and positive challenges - I'm always learning

I really enjoy the variety that comes with my role, I've worked with many clients of various industries, sizes and regions. I work closely with each client to understand their business requirements and provide best-practice advice so they can achieve their goals. Each client and their goals are unique, which means I'm always learning and challenged to find the best solution.

Invest your time in a company that values its people

When applying for a position, take the time to consider what you value in a career and employer. Does the company you're applying to share those values? Are their employees happy and feel appreciated for the work they do? Loyalty and value are a two-way street; invest in an employer that will invest in you!

I worked onsite with a US customer one year into my role

I was fortunate enough to be presented with an opportunity to move to California for 9 months in 2019-20, just over one year after I started working at PageUp. During my secondment, I worked onsite with a large client as they implemented the PageUp solution. Each day included strategic conversations and consultation about optimised use of the platform, training, support and launching across the organisation's various locations. It was a very challenging experience, but very rewarding as I learnt a lot about outcome-focused consultation and working on a large-scale project. I had always wanted to travel as part of my career, so this experience was also a personal achievement as well as a professional one.
